Pro-Ex triumphs with two trailer contracts

Mobile unit supplier Professional Exhibitions (Pro-Ex) has secured long-term contracts with two new clients.

Mobile unit supplier Professional Exhibitions (Pro-Ex) has secured long-term contracts with two new clients. In December, the agency won a three-year deal with tyre giant Goodyear following a two-way pitch against the incumbent agency. Pro-Ex will supply three units and an 18-foot support truck that will tour construction and agricultural events across the UK. The one five-metre and two seven-metre units will enable visitors to meet Goodyear staff and discuss products on display. Pro-Ex will also supply event management and promotional staff. Pro-Ex new business manager Simon Antrobus said: “Mobile campaigns work for Goodyear. The industries it serves find it hard to leave the office. This way customers can see the product in action and Good-year can take its products to the decision-makers.” Antrobus believes the firm’s IT system helped to win the business. He said: “We have been able to offer Goodyear a comprehensive management system that allows complete control.” In a second win, Pro-Ex is working with agency Chc Choir on a 12-month contract for the East Midlands Development Agency on its ‘Broadband for All’ campaign. Pro-Ex has supplied a 13-metre trailer to tour the East Midlands and promote the benefits of Broadband technology. The unit will be split into three themed zones – business, home, and leisure and entertainment. Pro-Ex will provide an event manager to oversee the project. The campaign is due to start in March.
