A number of DJs will be in attendance as tutors including Igor Carmo from Ministry of Sound, Al Gibbs from Pacha London and Sam Supplier from RinseFM.

Guests will get the chance to practise their skills on the decks and enter the chance to win an assortment of free clothing, music and DJ software giveaways.

The event kicks off a host of DJ-inspired events that will take place throughout the summer.

DJ Park, which organises its events in-house, will also be holding similar events around London in the forthcoming months. Clapham Common, Brixton Market and the Smiley unit in Boxpark, Shoreditch, have been picked as locations for upcoming pop-ups.

The launch party will take place in a hired unit in Old Street station. The Underground station was transformed into an experimental hub for shopping and leisure at the end of April after a collaboration between Transport for London and online short-term letting agency Appear Here.
