The development plans include a new stadium with a capacity for 43,000 people with enhanced hospitality facilities in the south stand.

There will also be a new concert arena with a capacity for 4,000 and a 4,000sqm exhibition hall with the ability to hold a temporary ice rink.

Other features include a 3,000sqm cinema, three star hotel with 150 rooms and a ‘student village’ providing accommodation around the stadium.

The planning application is due to go to Plymouth City Council this autumn.
