The event, which took place on 28 August, was organised by the agency and Elaine Davidian, who works in the business services division at UK Power Networks, which had previously used Wildgoose Events for a team building event.
For this challenge, Davidian rounded up 35 colleagues who were split into teams, with each given a tablet that was uploaded for one of the agency's high tech GPS London events. A number of questions which allowed the teams to win extra hot spot points were related to the event's host venue, 15 Hatfields.
Davidian said: "The challenge nudged our fund raising for the Whizz Kidz cause this year to £2,096. The Wildgoose event was fun and educational all the way and the feedback was 100% positive. There were some hilarious photo challenges and teams had to be inventive and work together. It really brought out the creativity in my colleagues which will benefit the company greatly as well as the charity for the donations people made."
Peter Barker, operations director at Wildgoose added: "We were delighted to support this event and have run a large number of charitable events that have been used to support fund raising activities. The flexibility of our unique app means that it provides a really scalable activity that delivers a fun and engaging event that enables established teams or strangers to work together.
