In pictures: Spotify's motorised DJ booth take-over

Spotify has embarked on a music-focused tour of UK universities, to welcome new students and get others excited about their new year of study.

The Live Loud Refreshes Tour, which has been developed with Seed Marketing, will see Spotify’s brightly coloured pink and yellow DJ booth on wheels make a total of 30 stops across 28 cities.

The music streaming company has conducted The Sound of Students study to uncover the group’s favourite songs, with the resulting 15-track playlist being played from the DJ booth for students to enjoy.

Drake features on the list a total of three times; meanwhile other top players include The Weeknd, Discoloure and Duke Dumont.

The moving music van comes complete with a photobooth, so students can snap a picture of themselves with their friends and have it printed into a personalised band poster. Brand representatives are also handing out welcome packs and offering students special discounts.

The tour kicked off at UWE and Oxford Brookes last Friday (18 September) and so far it has visited cities including Cardiff, Birmingham and Manchester.
