The tour aims to encourage guests to 'Gif it a Go', and showcases the latest edition's motion technology. Consumers can try out the game's 10 new moves as it tours the UK, and can also share their experience on social media.
The new Bop It game includes the classic moves: pull it, twist it and bop it. But it now also features others such as whip it, drink it, selfie it, answer it, hammer it, sing it, golf it, cradle it, comb it and saw it. Guests are encouraged to 'prove they've got the moves' by giving these new additions their best shot.
Sense senior account director, Nick Swift, said: "The central feature of this fun and cheeky 10-week tour is the ‘Gif It A Go!’ booth, where visitors can try out the latest Bop It moves and have them turned into a funny GIF video for social sharing. Those who share their GIFs online get a chance to win their choice of Hasbro Gaming games, while a partnership with toy retailer The Entertainer pushes consumers in-store to collect their prizes."
The experience kicked off in October, and will run through November and December.
Last month, Hovis staged a sampling activation at Intu Lakeside shopping centre, which showcased its ongoing partnership with the DreamWorks Animation's film Trolls. This month, virtual reality company Oculus is staging an experiential tour across UK retail outlets.
