Taking place over the weekend (9 and 10 July), the event was the first global glimpse of the complete Star Wars collectibles range and exclusive unveiling of a new limited edition piece - due to launch in the UK next month.

Produced in partnership with The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia, the Star Wars themed collection includes pewter merchandise such as cufflinks, Millennium Falcon and Snowspeeder flashdrives, Darth Vader and C-3PO mugs, Stormtrooper and Boba Fett tumblers, Limited Edition figurines including Darth Vader, Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma and a Death Star trinket box.

The Royal Selangor store features the only life-size movie replica of the Han Solo Carbonite in Europe, whilst visitors enjoyed exclusive in-store promotions and competitions over the launch weekend.

David Mill, general manager of Royal Selangor UK, said: "The King’s Road is an affluent and thriving destination with a distinctive feel. The area’s unique character and popularity with consumers provided the perfect backdrop for us to unveil our limited-edition Star Wars collection and launch our latest new addition to the range at the flagship store."

Hannah Grievson, commercial property manager at Sloane Stanley, which owns and manages hundreds of residential and commercial properties on the King’s Road and Fulham Road, said: "I am delighted for Royal Selangor to have hosted this exciting Star Wars preview event celebrating a worldwide popular culture and film phenomenon, with a world-class pewter brand. The exclusive event further marks The King’s Road as destination of choice for unique retail experiences, international brands, and the ideal place for shoppers in search for something special."
