The promotion, which has been designed to celebrate the run-up to the festive season, includes an indoor ice rink at Westfield London featuring live DJs and performaces, an immersive ‘Hidden House’ concept in Westfield Stratford City and Santa’s Grottos in both centres.
The Hidden House experience has been designed by Westfield’s in-house events team to target the older teenage market. Inspired by Grimms’ Fairy Tales, the activation will take audiences on a 15-minute journey into an abandoned house.
Actors will incite guests to experience a series of events that led the sudden vanishing of Little Red Riding Hood. The audience will be asked to uncover the truth behind the disappearances, all the while avoiding the Big Bad Wolf, in the free-flow maze, which has been installed with air-effects and scent technology to create a multi-sensory experience.
Two packages for The Hidden House are on offer – one for children and families and another for ages 12 and above.
Westfield announced last month that it would be touring a photobooth as part of its Christmas Before Christmas campaign, capturing shots of real Londoners.
