Those taking part are competing for the chance to be crowned national champions in front of a stadium full of fans. The event, which started on 16 May and which finishes today (18 May), is a partnership between PlayStation and the English Schools’ Football Association, working to inspire and nurture young football talent.
Circle Agency has worked alongside PR agency HPS Jardine to activate the festival, which sees 15 finals of U12 to U15 age categories, all of which will be broadcast live in HD to supporters watching back home.
Circle has devised a number of engaging supporter activities to entertain the fans across the three days, including PlayStation-branded t-shirt cannons, gaming pods and prize giveaways. Supporters also have the opportunity to win their very own PlayStation4 console by taking part in a number of competitions, including crossbar and selfie challenges. Football freestylers have also been providing additional pitch-side entertainment.
