In pictures: New Look partners with Official Charts for music events

New Look has teamed up with Official Charts to deliver the countdown's first series of live music shows throughout the UK.


Each of the five Official Charts After Party events are being hosted by Cel Spellman, who counts down to the week’s official number one, which is revealed with a balloon drop and confetti cans.

Following the reveal, attendees are treated to an hour-long set of UK number one singles, and The Mac Twins take to the stage to deliver a live interactive chart battle, where the crowd gets to decide which UK number one single of the past and present is played next.

The events have also seen performances from headliners Melissa Steel and Karen Harding and support act WSTRN, an emerging hip hop trio from west London.

Attendees are invited the visit the event's selfie booth and hash tagging printing stations on the night, and those who share their images on social media with the hashtags #ChartsAfterParty and #NewLookMusic will be in with a chance to win a £250 New Look voucher. There are also opportunities to get 'papped' on the red carpet.

The five-week club tour experience targets 18-24 year old students, and so far the events have been held at Loughborough University, Teesside University, the University of Surrey and Keele University.

The final Official Charts After Party will take place tomorrow (4 December) at the University of Hertfordshire.

Talent and events agency, Coalition delivered the inaugural event series.
