Guests, including representatives from Melon, Mask Events, ITA, Prudential and Kuoni, were welcomed into the refurbished event space upon arrival. The suite, which has undergone an extensive AV and wifi upgrade, consists of a floor of seven rooms, which can be configured in a number of ways for conferences, meetings, lunches and events for up to 60 delegates.

Attendees were able to enjoy a breakfast produced by the in-house catering team, including field mushroom with beef tomato and grilled halloumi breakfast baps, open bagels with salmon and cream cheese, mini herbed pork and leek chipolatas, layered yogurt shots of granola and fruit coulis and individual fresh fruit salads in cocktail glasses. Fresh fruit was also presented in copper pots alongside small carved pumpkins.

Jazz and swing music was played in the background as a card magician performed magic tricks to keep guests entertained.

The Rt Hon Lord Justice Christopher Clarke, whose professional law career spans being a judge in the Courts of Appeal of Guernsey and Jersey and High Court judge in commercial court, welcomed guests.

Cake plates containing chocolate brownies, flapjacks, lemon cake slices, individual fruit tarts and Halloween-themed cupcakes were also on offer, as well as mango and freshly squeezed orange juices, an assortment of teas, Bucks Fizz and Champagne.

A tour of Middle Temple’s additional spaces including Middle Temple Hall as well as the Bench Apartments, a collection of three individual event spaces ideal for receptions and seated dinners, was also offered to guests at the event.
