In pictures: Marriott and Universal launch partnership with Ellie Goulding

Marriott International and Universal Music Group (UMG) launched their global marketing partnership with a performance by UMG artist Ellie Goulding last night (30 June).

Held at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London, the event saw Goulding perform a series of hit songs, and host a meet and greet session in the hotel’s Royal Suite prior to the gig.

Jessie J was originally scheduled to perform at the launch event, however due to illness she pulled out at the last minute and was subequently replaced by Goulding.

Members of the public, executives and Marriott Rewards Members attended the event, which is the first in a series of #WithTheBand concerts to be held at Marriott International hotels across five different continents. 

The campaign also includes a branded video series, social media content, music downloads and ticket offers, and encompasses Marriott International brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, Edition, JW Marriott, Renaissance and Marriott Hotels, along with UMG labels including Capitol Music Group, Def Jam Recordings and Republic Records.
