Lambeth Palace, the Archbishop of Canterbury's London residence, hosted a showcase last night (1 October) to celebrate the opening of the venue for events.

A total of eight spaces are now available for events of various sizes, including receptions and parties. There is also a permanent marquee structure and secluded nine-acre gardens, which can also be used.

Event spaces include: The Guard Room, State Room, Great Hall, Atrium and Chapel.

The showcase last night allowed guests to explore the spaces, indulge in a manicure or massage in the garden, and enjoy the hospitality by FoodShow in the recent refurbished Great Hall. There was also a solo performance by a dancer on stilts and music throughout the evening.

Catering and events company FoodShow has been awarded a five-year contract at the Palace, to deliver external event catering, production and event management services.
