Flowers were carefully embroidered into east London hipsters’ beards and hair braids by floral stylist Lara Sanjar and The Braid Bar.
The distinctive Kopparbeards were inspired by the brand’s summer advert that features an elderflower-adorned male model.
Guests were treated to a headline performance from alt-rock band Dinosaur Pile-Up on the evening, with support from Tigercub and Club The Mammoth. The following day (21 June), DJ Norman Jay performed a Summer Solstice special on the longest day of the year.
The Kopparberg Urban forest opened on 10 June and will remain in situ until 12 July. Acts still to play the brand experience’s stage include Miss Dynamite, Chromeo and Trevor Nelson.
The activation was created by Kopparberg’s in-house team in collaboration with MAMA Group. Kopparberg’s £5m summer marketing campaign also consists of press, social media, digitial and outdoor.
