In pictures: Kopparberg opens doors to its Urban Forest

Queues for entry into Kopparberg's Urban Forest extended around the block last night (10 June) as the Swedish cider brand opened its new pop-up in London's Hackney Wick.

Singer Katy B headlined the music stage, meanwhile celebrity guests such as Jaime Winstone and Miquita Oliver were in attendence. Passers-by could queue for free entry into the venue, which has a capacity of approximately 650.

The east London installation is open until 12 July. Previously hosted at Dalston’s Bootstrap Company, the brand has increased the size of the forest for its second year.

Inside, guests can pick up a bottle of their favourite Kopparberg variety from the Woodland Bar, or enjoy a frozen fruit cider from a separate outlet. Food is available from a selection of street-food style eateries – Buffalo Joe’s, Mama’s Jerk Station and Le Bun.

A separate seating area has also been created on the second floor.

Other artists set to play on the stage include Chromeo, Submotion Orchestra, Norman Jay and Trevor Nelson.

The activation has been created in partnership with festival specialists MAMA Group. It forms part of Kopparberg’s £5m summer marketing campaign that also consists of press, social media, digitial and outdoor.
