Produced by agency House PR, the event saw 378 guests attend the party, including rapper Wretch 32, singer Diana Vickers and reality TV stars Sam Faiers and Louise Thompson.
Hip hop and R&B music was provided by female DJ duo Ooh La La, formed of model Zara Martin and Jade ‘Whinnie’ Williams. Italian Secrets Catering served up canapés including bruschetta, beef mini choux and smoked salmon crostinis.
Other entertainment came from a photobooth that sent guests a digital format of their photos electronically, as well as printing them traditionally, and Design Ink London, which created temporary jewellery-inspired tattoos for guests.
Two companies were selected to serve up Disaronno cocktails: Sweet & Chilli, which looked after the tray service and the Disaronno bar, and staff from The Ritz, who served an exclusive cocktail designed to mark the collaboration between Versace and the drinks brand. The drink will be served exclusively at the Rivoli Bar at The Ritz London from 20 October until Christmas 2014.
Sam Bovill, senior brand manager at Disaronno UK, said: "This is the second year we’ve partnered with an Italian fashion house to create a limited-edition bottle ahead of Christmas. Last year’s Moschino loves Disaronno was a great success, and this year the Disaronno Wears Versace collaboration looks set to be even more popular.
"The UK launch event was everything we could have hoped for – delicious cocktails prepared by The Ritz, a star-studded guest list and an incredible media turnout. My only concern is how we’ll top it in 2015."
