In pictures: Celebrity Cruises brings VIP experience to London's Waterloo

Celebrity Cruises brought its butlers to London's Waterloo train station this morning (18 January), in a bid to help commuters beat those Blue Monday feelings.

A pop-up version of its Lawn Club was installed at the station’s taxi rank, with butlers on-hand to assist members of the public with their morning commute.

Free refreshments were available and visitors to the Lawn Club were also encouraged to enter a competition to win a VIP chauffeur-driven journey home later today. A luxury food and wine hamper will also be available for the winner to tuck into on the journey home.

Commuters were given a ‘passport’ with details on how to enter, with the deadline for entry closing at 2pm today.

Jennifer Vieira, brand experience and partnership marketing manager, Celebrity Cruises UK, told Event: "We brought our award-winning Lawn Club to London Waterloo's taxi rank on Blue Monday to surprise and delight commuters with our butlers and free refreshments.

"Engagement has been spectacular, with consumers thrilled by a taste of modern luxury on a cold, winter day in London."
