In pictures: Boots preps one million flower petals for hay fever stunt

The Boots team are busy preparing for the brand's first ever Petal Nightfall event, which is set to take place in London tonight (24 June).

They began sorting the one million brightly coloured yellow and pink flower petals yesterday (23 June), all of which will be used for the event.

The petals will be released into the air at St Christopher’s Place from 8pm, when pollen levels are believed to be at their highest.

The stunt is designed to raise awareness of ‘insneezia’, a night time hay fever that can interrupt sufferers’ sleeping patterns.

Members of the public are invited to attend the event and watch on as the petals make their way onto the ground once they are dropped from London’s skyline.
