The event, which took place yesterday (15 June), featured Hook Norton hosting a party at its brewery, including free sampling, tutored tastings and meet the brewer sessions.
A pop-up pub, The Britannia Arms, was set up by Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame, in the grounds of the Jewel Tower opposite the House of Commons. MPs and peers had the chance to sample beer and pub food from across the UK and join in the celebrations.
Caledonian Brewery in Edinburgh, meanwhile, engaged with consumers by offering the chance to sample some beers at three of its city pubs, if they arrived at a certain time and location.
