Held at Alexandra Palace in North London from 27-29 August, the event showcased street food and drink from around the world, and has held a number of editions at locations across the UK this summer.

Campari-owned Appleton Rum's activation featured a rum bus with three cocktails on offer, including the Appleton Estate Mai Tai, Jamaica Mule and Jamaican Rum Punch. Visitors also had the chance to try the brand's 21-year old 'luxury sipping rum' and relax in seating beside the bus. Guests were also encouraged to take selfies and share these on social media.

Food to complement the drinks was also available, including a jerk pork or chicken box served on a bed of wild rice. The brand also hosted rum masterclasses in front of the rum bus, where guests had the chance to taste different Appleton Rum brands, make a cocktail and learn more about the brand's heritage.

A spokesperson for Appleton Rum said: "Our activation is aimed at promoting trials of the brand and to tell the story behind its heritage to encourage people to taste the drink and experience the different ways it can be served."

Pimms also revived its giant travelling teapot bar, showcasing new drinks and Pimm's classics, which has been on show at Wimbledon for the last two years. Tyrrells meanwhile hosted a stand reflecting the English summer, with a traditional rope swing and showcased a range of products with summer flavours, including Strawberries & Cream-flavoured popcorn. Belgian beer Leffe also had a presence at the festival.

Last year, Appleton Estate hosted a live rum tasting and cocktail making experience via Twitter.
