Taking place tonight (2 March), the band’s Smoke + Mirrors Live tour will be coming to the big screen for one night only in three different countries.
Genesis Cinema in London's Mile End, alongside selected cinemas in Germany and The Netherlands, will be hosting the experience.
The concert footage will be delivered using 4K Dolby Atmos audio technology, and the cinemas will be fitted out with new immersive technology from Philips Lighting.
Its LightVibes technology claims to add dynamic, lighting effects and imagery synced to the on-screen action. LED media panels will be placed inside the walls of the cinema to relay colour and imagery linked to what cinema-goers will be seeing on screen.
Dick Carruthers, music video and film director, who worked on Smoke + Mirrors Live concert film, said: "As a director I am constantly exploring new technologies to find exciting ways of connecting with audiences, seeking to enhance the experience and impact of the live music films I make.
"Philips LightVibes is a superb, cinema innovation which does exactly that. With our Imagine Dragons: Smoke + Mirrors Live concert film, it adds an extra dimension of sensory experience and immersion in the cinema. It just works - somehow making it more personal and special - we hope it will really engage fans."
Samsung Electronics recently showcased its new Galaxy S7 tech with a VR concert featuring Years & Years.
