The first part of this session will see Kerwood, who has realised the potential of social media platforms for the event industry, provide a keynote on the new social media trends that brands and event organisers can take advantage of in the next six to 12 months.
This will include the unveiling of a number of platforms that are free to use and can seriously enhance the visitor experience and the ROI of events.
Burton will be the speaker for the second part of this session and will focus on how to effectively use social media before, during and after events. He will provide the audience with a number of examples of how this has worked and how much social media can bring to an event.
This session will be one of many that are taking place at The Guide Live on 26 May at Proud2 in the O2. These include one on sustainability and a keynote from 02 sponsorship and events manager Nick Becker on the brand's event marketing strategy.
