The activation, organised by the brand's in-house events team, involved a trio of scantily-clad PETA supporters holding up signs that read ‘No bunny should suffer for fashion’ to highlight the treatment of animals, in this case rabbits, when it comes to sourcing fur for fashion ahead of the impending London Fashion Week (12-16 September) taking place at the venue.
Mimi Bekhechi, PETA director, said: "Every day, gentle rabbits are bludgeoned, electrocuted and skinned just for the sake of a jacket or a scarf. PETA's motto reads, in part, that 'animals are not ours to wear', and our 'bunnies' are a reminder to models, designers, buyers and other fashionistas that no bunny should suffer for fashion."
