The Beatles legend will perform on the Main Stage on Sunday 13 June as part of his new ‘Up And Coming' tour, which starts in the US in March and comes to the UK and Ireland in June.
"Forty years after Jimi Hendrix performed ‘Hey Joe' at Seaclose Park we've finally gotten to ‘Hey Jude'. I can't wait," said festival promoter John Giddings.
In addition to McCartney, the three-day event will also feature performances from other world-class artists including Jay-Z, Blondie, The Strokes and Florence and The Machine.
