Palace boosts facilities with suite of rooms

Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire has invested £1.3m to expand its meeting and events space. The former estate office and kitchens have been transformed into a suite of four meeting rooms to be named the Campaign Rooms.

"Blenheim Palace is steeped in history. It is truly exclusive and provides an enormous breadth of possibilities to the conference and events market," said Jane Lee, Blenheim Hospitality sales director.

The Palace's existing facilities include the Orangery, which overlooks the Italian gardens, The Great Hall and Saloon, which can accommodate 150 and 80 dinner guests respectively, and the 55m-long Long Library.

The Palace, which dates back to the 18th Century, also has 2,100 acres of parkland available for outdoor events.
