The party will serve to celebrate the show’s new home at the University of the Art's campus in King’s Cross and the redesign of Dezeen.
This year's Design Junction exhibition takes place from 22 – 25 September and will incorporate a range of immersive brand experiences for guests to explore alongside a programme of thought-provoking events and interactive workshops.
Highlights include a waterfall installation complete with a live string quartet by high-end kitchen and bathroom manufacturer Dornbracht, a series of Monopoly-style brand houses, and a VIP and media lounge made from memory foam in collaboration with German designer Verena Hennig.
As previously reported, there will also be a Twitter Machine, created to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the iconic Johnston typeface, and a funfair-themed booth by Transport for London (TfL).
The event is part of the wider London Design Festival, from 17-25 September, at which Champagne brand Perrier-Jouët will unveil its L'Eden by Perrier-Jouët immersive experience themed around a vision of nature.
