The management software allows show organisers to manage their floorplan amendments online and in real time.
Opex Group commercial director Justin Phillips said: “For some time now our customers have been asking for a 21st-century solution to the problem of tweaking exhibition plans. By working with a specialist CAD company we now have an online system that facilitates real-time amendments, giving multi-user benefits that include allowing exhibitors to see a newly created stand immediately, visitors to download truly up-to-date floorplans and automated floorplan synchronisation between sales and operational teams.”
The system further contains an in-built reporting system that can display information such as net space meterage left unsold or sold, shell meterage still remaining or sold and exhibitor lists, together with a history log showing the user responsible for each stand amendment.
“Because the system is online it can be accessed by geographically disparate multiple users throughout all stages of a show sales cycle, from exhibitor, stand designer and organiser through to visitor. The system is almost intuitive because it is so easy to use and so easy to make changes. First-time users and technophobes need not worry though, since we have also developed a short training scheme to complement this product’s roll-out,” added Phillips.
