A spokesman for exhibitor De Boer Structures said: "The show has had a good run at London Arena but by moving to Olympia it may give the show renewed impetus and might encourage more exhibition companies to support the event."
Stylographics sales and marketing manager Barry Davies agreed. "It definitely needed to move because the location was putting visitors off. This is an opportunity to get more people to attend,
But not all exhibitors were pleased with the news. Brian Murphy, chairman at Europa, which is part of the Index Group, said: "Olympia's National Hall is not what I'd call a good venue for this show - it's smaller than London Arena and has balconies. The show won't have the same flow. I'd have thought that Earls Court would have been better."
Inside Events' Whitecross added: "The new venue means we are likely to increase the number of exhibitors from the exhibition side of the business while ensuring that the show continues to play to its strengths in the events sector."
Next year's show will take place from 28-30 January.
