The O2 still out of action following burst water pipe

The O2 has been left without water after a pipe collapsed yesterday (2 October), forcing comedian Lee Evans to postpone his gig until next Monday.

Engineers worked to try and fix the problem, which occured yesterday morning, before Evans was due on stage at 7pm.

But they weren’t able to fix the fault, meaning catering and sanitation services weren't able to operate.

Engineers are still working on the pipe and believe it will be fixed today, preventing disruption to the venue's next show from Rihanna on Wednesday.

The O2 communications manager Stephen Farmer told Event news of the cancellation had been spread through The O2 website, email, Facebook and Twitter and sent to local radio stations.
