Opex incorporates Stanco

Opex Group has completed the integration of Stanco Exhibitions into the business, seven months after acquiring the stand contractor for an undisclosed sum.

The new set-up sees Opex step back from exhibition stand services and focus on its venue management contracts at Earls Court, Olympia, the Business Design Centre and abroad.

The Stanco Exhibitions brand will provide all the core exhibition services such as standfitting (including Modul) electrics, furniture and floor covers. Expo-Systems will continue to provide registration and data management services. Excel London Invision will go on handling the advertising infrastructure at Excel London and Opex Event Management Services will continue to provide operation support.

Opex Group chairman Guy Morgan said: "These key components of Opex Group will future-proof our business as we continue to be competitive, creative and add value to our customer's businesses."
