Event magazine has exclusive pictures from this year's ESSA G50 Summit held at Staverton Park in Daventry last week (21-22 July).
It was the first time the industry had been allowed into the G50 Summit for event and service providers. High-profile figures such as Excel London's Kevin Murphy and Early Action Group's Steve Barratt talk about the future of the industry.
On the first day (21 July) a number of educational seminars were held, on subjects ranging from legislative changes on VAT and securing international business to using social media and the future of events.
Hosted by 2112 Events managing director Joanne Smith, the sessions were followed by a dinner and short address by Event editor Jeremy King.
On the second day the traditional golf tournament took place on the venue's course, and a number of sponsors from the industry could be found handing out drinks and food on different holes around the course. In the evening another dinner was held, supported by headline sponsor Meridian Employment.
