The Cello Factory was originally a warehouse used as a furniture repository by the Savoy Hotel and it was also where the first Daleks from Doctor Who fame were made.
Where is it? The venue is situated in the South Bank and is only a few minutes from Waterloo station.
What is it? The Cello Factory was originally a warehouse used as a furniture repository by the Savoy Hotel and it was also where the first Daleks from Doctor Who fame were made. It was then turned into a factory and showroom for stringed instruments, specialising in the Stradivarious. An artist now owns the space and it is used for exhibitions and music recitals.
What's it got? A fantastic blank canvas space with wooden floors and natural light, The Cello Factory features black beams and a mezzanine level with a walkway that runs along its whole length. It features a kitchen and the entire venue can be blacked out. It can host up to 250 guests for a canapé reception or 100 for a seated dinner.
