National employment charity Shaw Trust has awarded Venues Event Management a three-year deal for the provision of its hotel booking and travel services.
The charity, which helps disabled and disadvantaged people find work, appointed the Wiltshire-based firm following a detailed tender process.
Venues Event Management will work in partnership with travel firm Quorn Business Travel on the contract, thought to be worth £1.5m a year.
"As a charity supporting disabled people, we always ensure that our suppliers consider equality and diversity and reflect the importance of them as part of their own culture," said Shaw Trust buying manager Mick Parry.
"Venues Event Management and QBT reflect the values of Shaw Trust and offered us a perfect solution to consolidate, control and measure our spend in this area as well as providing a cost effective and high quality service."
