The organisation responsible for the long-term planning, development and management of the Olympic Park - the Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) - has made the first three appointments to its executive management team.
Chartered accountant Jonathan Dutton will take up the role of company director of finance and corporate services, with immediate effect.
He will be joined by Malcolm Ross, director of operations and venues, and Karen Webb, director of marketing and communications, on 25 January and 1 February respectively.
Webb joins the OPLC from Visit London and the Greater London Authority, where she has led initial work on the Major Event Strategy for the Olympic Park.
She will be responsible for the overall positioning and promotion of the Olympic Park, including the development of the brand, marketing and communications strategy and event programming.
Meanwhile, Ross will be responsible for the legacy uses of the permanent Olympic venues, including the Stadium and Aquatics Centre, as well as the operations and management of the park site.
"With the first members of our top team now in place, this is an important milestone for the company and will significantly boost our efforts to be a publicly minded and commercially focused organisation," said OPLC chief executive Andrew Altman.
The organisation is currently recruiting for four further positions: director of urban design and planning; director of real estate; director of governance and legal services; and director of strategy and corporate planning.
