Photographic identification is being introduced in an attempt to stop forged hospitality tickets to next year's Ryder Cup circulating, according to reports.
Ryder Cup suppliers in both the US and UK have warned companies to be vigilant ahead of the 2010 event which is taking place at Wales' Celtic Park Manor.
The event, always a huge hospitality pull has five ‘official agents': Ryder Cup Travel Services, CSL Hospitality, Keith Prowse, IMG and Mike Burton.
According to the Press Association a number of companies purchased "non-existent inventory" in 2006. Keen to avoid a repeat photographic identification is being introduced for the first time next year.
Celtic Manor has had its own problems in the last year, axing 10% of its workforce in January.
