Tickets for next year's Glastonbury Festival have sold out, less than 24 hours after going on sale.
Passes for the 40th anniversary event went on sale yesterday (4 October), but were all gone just after 9pm last night.
Last year tickets took several weeks to sell out, with hospitality packages still available up to the last minute.
A statement on the festival's website reads: "Tickets for Glastonbury 2010 sold out just after 9pm on Sunday 4 October. Thank you to all those who bought tickets. Confirmation emails are still in the process of being sent out.
"For those who didn't manage to reserve or buy tickets, there will be a small number of tickets on sale over the coming weeks when any failed transactions have been cancelled.
"For anyone who is not already registered, registration will reopen at 9am tomorrow (Monday 5 October) at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk."
