Visit London has announced the formation of Business Tourism Working Group - an initiative designed to increase conventions and events in the capital.
The group will be tasked with improving and building London's business tourism offering up to the 2012 Olympic Games and beyond.
Both the public and private sector will be called on for the specific aim of increasing high profile events and conventions.
Mayor Boris Johnson, his economic director of policy Anthony Browne and director of marketing Dan Ritterband have all lent their support to the project.
