Pippa the Ripper won the audience vote at the second live qualifying heat, which was held at Fortesqueue's' Room by the River as part of Eventia's summer party, while Kev Orkian melted the judges' hearts to win a place in the final.
There could only be two winners, but all six competitors were of an incredibly high standard and divided the opinions of both audience and judges. At one point all four judges, who included Room by the River team leader Peter Strange, Eventia CEO Izania Downie, ISES president Zanine Adams and Sternberg Clarke managing director Adam Sternberg, traded heated exchanges.

It was great fun; I'm still chuckling over some of Kev's jokes!
