Event UK has revealed Rachel Elnaugh, creator of Red Letter Days, as its final keynote speaker.
Elnaugh created Red Letter Days on a shoestring budget from her living room, and shot to fame after becoming one of the original judges on BBC2’s Dragons' Den.
However, after her business went into administration in 2005, Elnaugh was forced to leave the hit television show.
"I can’t think of anyone better equipped to not only inspire our visitors, but, more importantly, impart some invaluable insight into how to spot the tell-tale signs of a business in need in these tough trading conditions," said Confex Group portfolio director Duncan Reid.
"We always strive to create seminars that are reflective of the needs of our visitors; Rachel’s account will undoubtedly have a real benefit to those who hear her speak."
Event UK takes place at at the NEC in Birmingham from 22-23 September.
