Car giant Renault spent 20% less on its exhibition stand at this year's BBC Gardeners' World Live, held at the NEC from 10-14 June.
Event and exhibition solutions specialist Rapiergroup produced a stand for the Eco2 vehicle that demonstrated Renault's commitment to the environment, by using materials that included recycled car and truck tyres, and timber fibreboard made from recycled softwood chips and dust. It also employed a local contrator from within an 18-mile radius of the NEC.

To ensure that the actual stand itself is reused, the elements will either be recycled or redesigned for further Renault show programmes.
Overall it meant that Renault's stand cost was down 20% on 2008.
