Ferrari yesterday celebrated the opening of its Regent Street store with a star-studded opening ceremony and car exhibition.
Conduit Street, which adjoins Regent Street, was closed to showcase chosen models from the luxury car manufacturer's past and present range. A Ferrari F1 car was also displayed in the store itself.
The opening was attended by racing driver Kimi Räikkönen and motoring legend Jackie Stewart. The store will sell merchandise featuring the iconic ‘prancing horse' logo. Items including books, clothing and umbrellas will be available, but not the cars.
Räikkönen said he was impressed with the store, adding that he is confident that the Ferrari F1 team will improve its position this season.
