Jack Morton Worldwide has won the contract to produce London's New Year's Eve celebrations for the fifth consecutive year.
The London Eye and River Thames will be the focal point of a spectacular display, created by renowned pyrotechnician Christophe Berthonneau and lighting designer Durham Marenghi, and sponsored by LG.
Those lucky enough to get into the designated viewing areas will hear a musical soundtrack, specially mixed by BBC Radio One.
The event was honoured most recently with the Creative Partnership Tribute from the National Outdoor Events Association 2008 and also won the title of Public Event of the Year at the Eventia UK Awards in 2007.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity once again to entertain London and the watching world with this thrilling experience," said Jack Morton Worldwide managing director Julian Pullan. "It is a great honour to be part of the team that makes this truly iconic event possible."
