Jon, who worked for The Three Waiters for eight years, will officially assume the role on 3 November.
The move is part of Incognito's strategy to increase its market share and raise its profile in the entertainment industry.
The two businesses have been rivals since 2000, when Incognito Artists launched.
"The decision to invite Robert onboard was something that we had to deliberate long and hard about," said Incognito Artists CEO Geoff Sewell. "But in the end we felt it would be a solid and savvy strategic move for Incognito. Now we are in a position to benefit from the industry knowledge, skills and competencies of the man who has been behind our top competitor all these years."
