Mayor of London Boris Johnson is set to deliver a key address at this year's Visit London Awards that are being held in the Royal Albert Hall on 27 November.
Hosted by Visit London the awards are now in their fifth year, and will celebrate the capital's tourism offer including the arts, culture, attractions, entertainment and accommodation sector.
Visit London chief executive James Bidwell said: "Tourism is worth £16b to our local economy and supports more than 250,000 full-time jobs. The Mayor's attendence recognises the vital contribution of our industry and Visit London's role in driving and delivering the economic benefits of tourism."
Boris Johnson added: "It's a pleasure to attend this year's Visit London Awards, my first as Mayor. Tourism is critical to our capital as the industry's success translates directly into jobs for London and Londoners. These awards show the range and excellence of what the capital has to offer the visitor."
