Land Rover has extended its sponsorship as official car partner of National Boat Shows’ (NBS) PSP Southampton Boat Show 2008 and the London International Boat Show 2009.

The ongoing sponsorship deal was a result of the success of the partnership between NBS and Land Rover during the 2008 Collins Stewart London Boat Show in January.

The Land Rover stand will be located in the Holiday Inn block during the PSP Southampton Boat Show from 12-21 September in Solent Park. During next year's London International Boat Show, from 9-18 January, the automotive giant will be located in the South Hall at Excel London.

Land Rover UK marketing director Anthony Bradbury said: "We are delighted to be extending our relationship with NBS following the success of the London show in January. We see both of the shows as the perfect opportunity to continue diversifying our portfolio and targeting an audience with an interest in both luxury cars and boats."

NBS managing director Andrew Williams said: "Land Rover's towing ability is enviable, which is why our association with them is so appropriate."
