Event Awards shortlist has been revealed

Last week 20 industry experts came together at the Blue Fin building to judge more than 330 entries submitted for this year's Event Awards.

A mixture of in-house brand event directors, agency heads, and venue and supplier managers toiled over a record number of entries, and created a very competitive shortlist.

Revealed at the 15th Event Awards ceremony on Friday 5 October at the Roundhouse, the competition is extremely fierce with an impressive variety of events, venues and suppliers making it through to the final stage.

Boasting its first headline sponsor in Late Night London, the shortlist for this year's Event Awards will see everyone from Excel London to UBM Live and RPM to Jam Staffing compete for a prestigious award.

For the Act of the Year accolade, which is between Wandering Hands, High on Heels and F2 Football Tricksters, the three shortlisted acts will compete live on the night with the winner being decided by the audience.

The Caterer of the Year shortlist is between The Recipe, Moving Venue, The Swan at the Globe, Rhubarb and Seasoned Events.
