John Wringe has joined agency Invnt as a non-executive chairman.

Wringe will join Dina Green, managing director of Invnt's UK office, to lead business and corporate development.

The US-based experiential agency launched its UK arm in May.

Wringe has spent more than 30 years managing creative agencies, including stints at Cogent Elliott, Publicis, WPP-red cell and Sandom Group.

Since 2006, he has been running his own successful outsource marketing consultancy working with major brands.

"I meet many agencies but was immediately enamoured with the Invnt founders and their story," said Wringe. "I look forward to helping replicate their success here in the UK and on a global scale."

Scott Cullather, Invnt’s managing partner, said: "John’s ethos is perfectly matched with that of invnt and he brings a vast network of business knowledge along with significant M&A and global growth experience which fits nicely into our ambitious strategic growth plans."
