Event magazine is teaming up with London & Partners and its London Media Centre to ensure 7,000 of the world's press cover what is going on in the event industry this summer.

More than 7,000 journalists including those from Sky, ABC, Beijing Times and The Korea Herald will be coming to the London Media Centre at One George Street in time for the Olympic Games.

All of the journalists heading to the London Media Centre do not have sports accreditation - so will not be covering the Olympics - but have to write about the capital, so Event is teaming up with London & Partners to provide them with a list of all of the events that are taking place away from the Olympic Park during the Games period.

Event is asking you, the industry, to let us know what events you are organising, hosting or supplying that you would like the world's press to come and cover during the period from 9 July to 10 September.

Event will then create a supplement to hand out to the 7,000 journalists that will showcase as many of your events as possible.

For the opportunity to have your event covered by the world's press and appear in Event's supplement please email us the name of your event, a brief paragraph on what it is, the dates or dates it is taking place, the venue and the name of the contact.

To leave a comment register and let us know your thoughts.

For more Olympic coverage that is only in the print issue of Event, make sure you don't miss the June issue of Event magazine by subscribing here.
