Watchmaker Patek Philippe and the jewellers Mappin & Webb and Watches of Switzerland brought in Collective Minds to produce a ball, and Event has exclusive pictures.
More than 150 VIP guests enjoyed cocktails, canapés and champagne in Victoria House.
The black tie event was a showcase for watches in the 2010 Patek Philippe Collection, which was introduced by Patek Philippe president Thierry Stern.

Guests were seated at Perspex tables, inside which watch parts were suspended. Around the room were the timepieces in the new collection, and a master watchmaker was on hand to talk through their highly engineered movements, visible through a stereo microscope and projected on to a big screen.
Collective Minds sister company Stones Events provided food.
