AEV annual general meeting to take place at NEC

The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has announced that its 2010 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on 22 September at the NEC, Birmingham.
The free event will begin with a lunch and networking session, followed by the AGM and Working Group Chair’s updates. It is scheduled to take place from noon to 2pm.
Those interesting in attending can book via the AEV’s website.
The Business Design Centre chief operations officer Graham Stevenson took over as chairman of the association in April this year.
He replaced Excel London CEO Kevin Murphy, who spent three years running the AEV.
